New Year, New Traditions, 2015 What do you have in store for us??

This year WILL be better than last year.
This year we WILL be staying out of the hospital!
All of us! No more hospitals!
Surely last year we more than met the quota! Geez!

Depending on which way the wind is blowing I see alot of my side of the family and then I see alot of Jake's side coming through too. Interesting!

I think we may have another musical baby on our hands, Violet enjoys playing the drums and the xylophone as well. Daddy's band just may happen after all. Stay tuned for more!

Every now and then I can get Violet to snuggle with me, these days it is getting harder and harder to get her to go to sleep on us. She knows there is just too much excitement going on in the living room! Who knew we were that exciting! HA!

Because she is not hard enough to wrangle, she now likes to add her feet to the balancing act of nursing. I really need an extra hand, it would be great. I laugh at the women who say they read on a Kindle, or flip through Facebook on their phone. While I was able to do that for a short while, once she was big enough to move, all she did was bat the phone out of my hand. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, there will be time for phones when we are done nursing.

Katie likes to snuggle on our bed and take selfies.
She's pretty good at making faces,
sometimes she gets distracted looking at herself. Well, who wouldn't with a strikingly pretty and smart girl staring back!

Katie has a booty just like her Daddy, sometimes they just can't keep it contained!

I LOVED this hat on Katie, I believe it came from Aunt Pat when she went to Scotland or Ireland, but I loved how soft it looked and felt and they both look so sweet in it!

Katie has worked hard on being brave and has conquered the tube slide at Burger King. It is not an easy thing to do by yourself! It is easy when you can follow a friend up the steps and slide down together, but when we have gone there haven't been any friends for Katie to play with so she has been so brave!

Watch out, our little girl is on the move!

Daddy can make all us girls laugh! He was making funny voices and faces as well, but tends to stop when he know I am taking video.

I can't believe how big our Violet is getting! She is eating solid foods these days like a champ! She isn't a fan of green beans, but if they are mixed with something she eats them with no problem, so we have alot of squeen beans (squash and green beans) I think we enjoy naming them a bit too much, but hey! whatever gets you through the day!

I love the positions these girls flop around in while sleeping.
I find this one impressive because she is still holding her finger in her mouth with the other arm draped over the face. You would think her arm would get tired! It won't be much longer and we will be moving to a big girl bed, I am excited to see what new sleep positions she comes up with when there are no rails to hold her back.

Katie picked out her purple sweater on the same day as I had my purple sweater on! Sweater twins!
Also, she is doing a pretty good job rolling her tongue as well!

More cute shots of Violet Mae in her cutie hat!
About 3 seconds after I took the picture on the left she slid out of the bottom of the car and was not happy about it or the fact that Katie and I laughed!

We went to our first of many basketball games with Wes as a family of for! We love spending time with Wes and his Mom Tisha! So glad they invite us to come to games! Katie was excited she got not one but two pom poms:)

We went to a Winter Guard Competition to cheer on our Allie and this is how we set up shop, we took up alot of space, but hey, we were gonna be there all day and whatever it takes to keep the kids happy.
Sorry folks go sit somewhere else or sit by the kids!
Violet had enough and was time for a nap and by then Katie was getting tired so I had two snugglie girls both with fingers in their mouths. I Love my girls so much and never get enough snuggles with them! Even with all the loud music and clapping the Moby once again worked it's magic and helped to keep Violet calm and relaxed. One of my most favorite things we bought!

Mae at her best, jumping and eating! She is an active girl, as soon as she's full she's ready for another round and loves that she can move on her own. It is a low crawl/roll, but it gets her where she needs to go.

I still remember taking a bath with my sister and I hope the girls enjoy it as well, now that Violet can sit up so well we can dunk them both in the bath at the same time. I am going to miss the Winnie The Pooh bath tub though. This is the first time Violet hasn't cried while in the big tub, she hasn't been liking it too much the previous times we put her in there.

She may look like a princess, but she is a WARRIOR!

I may have used too much blue food coloring in our homemade Gak...who cares!
It was fun!

You can barely see it in the picture, but this whole side of Violet's face was blueish purple from my hands! Didn't think I had that much on my hands, it was just enough to transfer to her face for a few days.

Katie Elouise is such a smart girl. She loves reading and anything Fozen related these days. We have not lost our love for Elmo either. Shoes er, boots rather are still the favorite article of clothing.

Watch out folks we are coming to town...after a nap apparently! HA!
Lynnsey had been up working, so she had an excuse, Jake wasn't about to miss an opportunity to nap.
Thanks to Bud and Jacki for having a sleepover with the girls so we could go have a great time with a great friend!
We went to see the Alabama Shakes for Lynnsey's Birthday! Great band, great show. If Creedence Clearwater Revival and Janis Joplin had a baby, it would be the Alabama Shakes.

We almost had our picture taken with Brittany, the lead singer, she was at the rooftop bar having a smoke and as we walked over to ask for a picture she walked back inside the backstage door. Guess we shoulda moved quicker or yelled or something.

The GA Theatre is a great place to see a show! I can't wait to take the girls to their first concert! I feel live music gets in you and you just want more!
