It's Fall Y'all our Oct. 2013

Katie likes to help with laundry, help by put it on the floor, on herself, on Sam...

 Our girl is getting so big and smart! It seems like only yesterday that we brought her home and were trying to figure out what to do with her!

It is time to carve our pumpkin! 

Due to Katie's LOVE of Elmo, we found an Elmo template and off we go!

Katie enjoyed taking the seeds out of the pumpkin and putting them in the bowl and then out of the bowl and into the pumpkin. It kept her busy:)

Sadly he only made it from Sunday to Wednesday, the sun baked Elmo's nose pretty good and he got a face lift...

We went to Memorial Park just me and Katie:) We saw the bears, owls, and the turkeys. This is the only picture I managed to take as we went through the park, Katie was so excited by all the animals that it was hard to get her to sit still. Fun either way! 





Katie was Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street for Halloween! Found the costume at a yard sale for $3 dollars! She asks to wear it daily! She wears it when we go grocery shopping or where ever. I have to hide it so I can wash it. We have a pink shirt and pink tights to go underneath it for when it finally gets cold. Couldn't believe it was T-Shirt weather for Halloween! 






Daddy likes his coffee in the morning and so we decided to get Katie something she can drink with her Daddy on Saturday morning. So now she has "Katie Coffee" which is Ovaltene. I will have to get one of those two drinking their coffee together. 

 



 

To The River! And Beyond! A very busy September!

We took a white water rafting trip with Lynnsey, Rob, Stephanie and her cousin Shannon and Kenneth. It was our first trip away together and it was so fun! We gotta do it more often!

Our raft was the hero raft! At one point in the river it got all kinds of crazy and people kept falling out of their boats so we went after them and pulled them into our boat! 

That's right! We are a big deal! We are the awesomerest HERO BOAT!!!!!

Good times with great friends! Surprisingly, Lynnsey did not get hurt at all the whole trip!

Meanwhile back at Casa Harmon! We have been loving our Baby lately! Inside or outside!

I mean! That girl is my love! She is so stinkin' adorbs!

HA! HA! Someone has gotten spoiled and likes to play the big drum set!

Our friends Kevin and Danielle gave us their playhouse and Katie loves it! 

We are lucky to have good friends:)

Fun times at the park! 

Katie will swing and swing and swing and her head will start to droop back and just when we think she is going to fall asleep....she wants to get down to tackle the slide:) 

Not sure what was up with this face, but I loved it! I am sure we will see it again! HA

Both sets of toes were sticking thru the slats in the crib. She is always in some odd position! I love it!

Katie asks for me to put on one of my bras every time she sees me put one one or if I am changing clothes. We will be using this one as blackmail for sure! 

Katie was really quiet so I went to check on her and I found her talking to herself in the mirror in the spare room. She climbed over the boxes and was standing on my scrapbooking case.

Sweet August Summertime!

Playing in the rain is summer to me and I am trying to let Katie enjoy the simpleness of playing in the rain. We twirled and laughed and had a good time, ok, maybe it really was a bit more for me than Katie at this point, but maybe one day she will remember her cray cray Mama playing in the rain like a goof!

  

We got Katie a pink inflatable pool and I have to say that I am more glad I bought it every day! We play outside a great deal! I enjoy getting out of the house when possible and not be around the TV all the time. Don’t get me wrong I am very glad to have Elmo in the house! An Elmo DVD has given the gift of a good long hot shower w/o interruption on more than one occasion! But I love it when Katie wakes up and the first thing on her mind isn’t a “buff” but “water please!” and outside we go to play in the pool!

The Harmon’s favorite August good time is Bleeckerfest! This was Katie’s first year to experience the fun and she made friends with everyone! K.C. Harmon Band made another appearance, instead of the full band it was more like an acoustic set w drums. Always a good time! John even let Katie wear his crown, for a bit!
