So much to be thankful for! Nov. 2013

Ruthie, Katie and I took Sam to the park.

If you look close you can see the rock in Katie's mouth, that girl!

Little dirt and my snack will be complete!

I love this shot! My sweet girl and my bone-head boy:) They are such a sweet pair! Thankfully no squirrels came by! HAHAHA!
Ruthie took this shot! She has a great eye!

Uncle Bud and Aunt Jackie got Katie a creme filled green iced doughnut, needless to say it was a very good thing for Katie! After this she convinced them to take her to the library, it didn't take alot of convincing...

Katie and I baked a pumpkin cheesecake and a pecan pie this year for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun! She enjoyed standing up in the chair and being a big helper. She cried when it was time for a nap, I think he thought I was going to keep baking without her. After some convincing, she went to bed and we continued baking after she got up. I loved baking with her, it made me think of all the times i helped Nana bake in the same way. This is the kind of stuff that I have been looking forward to doing with Katie since she was just a pea sized baby in my belly.

As I handed her the ingredients, she started stacking them up. TA DA!

She really enjoyed watching the whisk spin around, this was her favorite spot.

What every cooks waits for!

Thanksgiving with the Harmon's, this was the first year since we could remember that it was just family at the Thanksgiving table. There is usually someone who's family is out of town or can't go see their family. Not this year, just family, it was weird and kinda nice!

We are Thankful for our ever growing family! We are grateful we can fill our house with another Harmon. Kinda scary, but awesome! We are moving to man to man defense! This aughtta be good! Katie has no idea what is about to happen. We keep talking about her being a big sister and we rub my belly and talk about the baby. I think she will take a while to settle down, but she will be a great big sister!

Granny made Katie an Alabama dress. She wore it for the ALvsAU game. It was not our lucky dress, but she still looked too cute!

It's Fall Y'all our Oct. 2013

Katie likes to help with laundry, help by put it on the floor, on herself, on Sam...
however she can help:)

Katie thinks she is something now she can get on the couch by herself:)

Kisses on the couch!
We have to steal our kisses these days, she does not give them out easily!

Our girl is getting so big and smart! It seems like only yesterday that we brought her home and were trying to figure out what to do with her!

Katie and Daddy snuggle time.
Who knows what was happening!

It is time to carve our pumpkin!
Due to Katie's LOVE of Elmo, we found an Elmo template and off we go!

Katie enjoyed taking the seeds out of the pumpkin and putting them in the bowl and then out of the bowl and into the pumpkin. It kept her busy:)

Taste test

CHEESE!!

Our finished product:) He looks good if we do say so ourselves!

Sadly he only made it from Sunday to Wednesday, the sun baked Elmo's nose pretty good and he got a face lift...

We went to Memorial Park just me and Katie:) We saw the bears, owls, and the turkeys. This is the only picture I managed to take as we went through the park, Katie was so excited by all the animals that it was hard to get her to sit still. Fun either way!

Katie was Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street for Halloween! Found the costume at a yard sale for $3 dollars! She asks to wear it daily! She wears it when we go grocery shopping or where ever. I have to hide it so I can wash it. We have a pink shirt and pink tights to go underneath it for when it finally gets cold. Couldn't believe it was T-Shirt weather for Halloween!

Daddy likes his coffee in the morning and so we decided to get Katie something she can drink with her Daddy on Saturday morning. So now she has "Katie Coffee" which is Ovaltene. I will have to get one of those two drinking their coffee together.
