April 2012 We had the unfortunate passing of Jake’s Dad at the end of March. It was and still is, very shocking and devastating. We are trying to pick up the pieces and carry on together as a family, but there will be sadness over our clan for a long time. Man will be greatly missed, but because of this Katie got to meet some of the extended Harmon family.
Aunt Pat
introduced Katie to “naked time” and informed us that we needed to let Katie be
naked as much as possible, every day! We have tried to make sure that happens
as often as possible, for as long as we dare!
Aunt Pat and Katie also enjoy watching TV together:)
We tried feeding Katie cereal for the first time, we thought maybe it would help her be full and sleep and maybe not get upset at 8:00. We were wrong, it upset her belly and she stayed up for even longer, back to the drawing board:)
Jake got a
new old Jeep CJ5 this month as well. I doubt there has ever been a bigger smile
on his face!
He is very happy with his new off-road trail rider! He can’t wait to fit it
with a back seat so we can go on family rides. I think that it will be a few
years before Katie is big enough to go on any major trails, but it will be fun
to go on Jeep rides as a family! Not sure how we are going to fit Sam into the
Jeep with the rest of us.
