We are just waiting for his lungs to get stronger and then we can wean him off the ventilator. Waiting! Waiting!
Jake came down to check on his girls on Saturday! He totally surprised us! It was needed way more than I realized! I was an emotional release. He has always had a very calming effect on me and it was muchly appreciated ray of sunshine to end the stressful week.
We went to visit Kennedy Acres Sunday and just like last time, Katie had a blast. She got to feed the chickens, turkey, and pet the baby goat! Too cute! The turkey walked around all puffed up and tried several times to get a bit too friendly with little Katie. Time for Henry to get a girlfriend! Of course he got a bit friendly with Jake's shoe too... he may just be confused:) Katie was not impressed in the least bit by Henry's showboating. Sorry Henry.
After all that farm work it was time to relax with Stephanie!
We managed to squeeze in some time visiting with family.
Katie and Hunter have so much fun together! Cousins are awesome!
Ninny hit the jackpot at the Salvation Army, she found lots of costumes, hats, princess dresses, and most favorite of Katie's a pair of dressy high heel shoes! She cried when I made her take them off the first night and slept with them on the edge of the bed where she could see them.
Katie of course had to wear her fancy shoes while watching Sesame Street this morning!
We also got to go to the park in between visits. We've been here almost 2 weeks, so I am trying to make some sort of fun time and some sort of schedule out of our crazy days. It is on the way from the hospital, so we try and stop and have some fun each day too:)
We are at week 20! Yikes! Other than heartburn this pregnancy has been pretty easy:) It seems like "he" has just popped out this week! I feel large anyway! I have been a bit more anxious to find out if this one is a boy or girl, I feel like time is running out! We still have to get "his" room ready!
Maybe we could follow suit like a fellow INSANE Alabama fan and name this baby Crimson Bryant! HA!
Houndstooth pajama pants!!!
